The SmallRig SR2948 Mini Ball Head Mount with Removable Cold Shoe Mount comes in two pieces and is used to attach video accessories to the camera, such as microphones, LED lights, monitors, action cameras, and more. It may be put on the camera's hot shoe or the cold shoe of the cage or handle via the bottom cold shoe, with one 1/4"-20 screw on top to attach accessories and then secured by a knob.
The ball head has a load capacity of 1.5kg and can pan 360° and tilt 135°. The bottom locking plate has built-in slots that allow you to tighten it with an Allen wrench for further security. A 1/4"-20 female thread on the bottom of the ball head allows you to attach a micro tripod after removing the cold shoe adaptor. The ball head is small, light, and simple to transport, weighing only 45g.
