Theodist Supports E-Mental Health National Consultation Meeting

Participants in the first-ever E- Mental Health Consultation Meeting at the Holiday Inn interacted with other members on a video conference call.

Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being.  It affects how we think, feel, and act; and also helps determine how we handle the challenges of life and make our choices.  Mental health is important at every stage of life from childhood through to adulthood.

Theodist is happy to support Mental Health in Papua New Guinea, as a healthy mind creates a vibrant and supportive community.  Today we were pleased to support the E-Mental Health consultation meeting by providing the video conferencing equipment and technical support to host the first of such meetings, which was held at the Holiday Inn.

Over the last year, conferencing and meeting styles have changed drastically and Theodist is happy to be able to provide a much-needed solution to what is a growing trend in being able to have meaningful face-to-face meetings using technology.

The conference kit connected Provincial Health Authorities from, Morobe, Eastern and Western Highlands, East New Britain, Northern and Madang among others, along with various church-run facilities and international consultants with members of the mental health fraternity here in Port Moresby.

The kit included a 65-inch BENQ Interactive Panel and Logitech conference kit, as well as technical set-up, participant training and backup technical support during the conference.
