Thunders Battle for PCNC Division One Title

Despite the loss, the Thunders concluded an impressive season securing a well-earned runner-up position.

Theodist Thunders captain Gia Kopi led her team with exceptional shooting throughout the game, earning her the Grand Final Best Shooter award.

"The outcome might not be what we wanted, but the way we played – that's what makes us proud," Kopi reflects. "Kina Bank is always a tough matchup, and this was a battle until the very end. We're proud of how far we've come this season."

The Theodist Thunders' outstanding performance will be formally recognized at the Private Companies Netball Competition (PCNC) awards night on April 6th.

With their sights set on the future, the Thunders remain determined. "We've built a strong team with a true competitive spirit," Kopi affirmed. "Come October, when the competition resumes, we will be ready to challenge for the top spot once again."

The Private Companies Netball Competition, which brings together 130 Port Moresby-based companies with 22 divisions, provides a fantastic opportunity for working women to not only demonstrate their athletic ability but also to foster a sense of community and teamwork.

Theodist Limited is proud to be part of this initiative that promotes sportsmanship, healthy competition, and women's empowerment within Papua New Guinea's corporate community.

We would like to extend a special thank you to all our supporters who cheered us on last Sunday.
