Celebrating Leadership and a Historic Milestone for Papua New Guinea.

Theodist Limited proudly congratulates our Corporate Development Manager, Ryan Pini, on his re-appointment to the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Athlete Council and his re-election as Chair.

In this role, Ryan continues to represent athletes from around the world, helping shape global policies that protect clean sport, athlete rights, and fair competition through the World Anti-Doping Agency Athlete Council. As Chair, he also sits on WADA’s Executive Committee, one of the most influential bodies guiding the integrity of sport worldwide.

His leadership at this level reflects the growing influence of Papua New Guinean voices in international sport governance — something we at Theodist are incredibly proud to see.

This recognition comes as we approach a very special milestone in Papua New Guinea’s sporting history. On 20 March 2006, Ryan made history when he won gold in the 100m Butterfly at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, becoming Papua New Guinea’s second Commonwealth Games gold medallist.

That victory was a defining moment for Papua New Guinea, placing our nation on the global sporting stage and inspiring a generation of athletes across the country.

As we mark the 20th anniversary of that historic achievement, we celebrate not only the moment that made PNG proud, but also the continued leadership Ryan brings to international sport today.

From representing Papua New Guinea in the pool to shaping the future of clean sport globally, Ryan’s journey reflects the values we believe in at Theodist — integrity, excellence, and making a positive impact beyond our shores.

Congratulations, Ryan. We are proud to have you as part of the Theodist team!
