THEODIST renews Life PNG Care partnership with K25,000

THEODIST Limited was pleased to renew Life PNG Care Inc.’s annual partnership with K25,000 towards its special education support program - Strongim Pikinini Education Program (SPEP) this year. 

In presenting the cheque, THEODIST Limited’s Corporate Development Manager, Ryan Pini said that THEODIST is pleased to support, the (SPEP) program which is currently educating over 600 children.

"THEODIST is committed to education and gives back to the communities we operate in through such partnerships. Our pride shines in the success of the Strongim Pikinini Education Program of Life PNG Care,
which has supported over 600 children in their education, provided Out of Home Care for 75 children, and sent 12 students to further their education at tertiary institutions," said Mr. Pini.


“We believe that this support will make a positive difference in the lives of these underprivileged children as it is only through education that they will change the scenario and give them hope for the future,” Mr. Pini continued.

Life PNG Care Inc. Director Collin Pake upon receiving the donation thanked THEODIST for their unwavering support and partnership over the past six (6) years.

"THEODIST Limited's collaboration with Life PNG Care since 2017 has been instrumental in providing education for 600+ children, including 12 who have pursued tertiary education with at least one achieving employment
at an accounting firm after earning a Bachelor in Accounting degree from The University of Papua New Guinea,” Collin said.


“This is a major milestone for Life PNG Care and a testament to our shared commitment to changing the next generation through education. Having said that, we are confident that THEODIST will continue to be a valued partner
in this endeavor to build a better future for Papua New Guinea,” added Mr. Pake.


THEODIST Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Kumar Baliah stated that education is one of the founding pillars of a nation, and THEODIST will continue to support education programs to build the future generations of PNG.

The Strongim Pikinini Education Program (SPEP) has positively impacted the lives of underprivileged children across Papua New Guinea, including students from NCD, Central, Gulf, Western, Vanimo, Lae, Wewak, Kimbe, Hela, Enga, Chimbu, Mendi, and Rabaul.
A total of 600 students so far received support from the program this year.
